For Disclosure’s Caracal album tour, we wanted a way for fans to participate in the creation of their very own “Disclosure Face” design. Using the iconic style of the original Disclosure face and taking inspiration from their new album design, we created an interactive design tool for fans to submit their personal Disclosure face. We partnered up with American Express to utilize the existing Amex Music platform for users to be able to submit their designs for use in the show.
With submissions from around the world, we collated and tagged user submissions with fan’s names and locations to use live in the show visuals. During the show, we took in real time data from the “Disclose Your Face” app and mapped user submissions to the show’s multiple LED walls. Controlled live, we VJ’ed the submissions from an iPad from the front of house booth, because why not?
Disclosure liked the system so much they decided to use it for the entire length of their Caracal Album Tour.
